Currently the Call example is disabled in Libjingle. Also it's hard for others to build it with peerConnection by themselves.
Since there are many requests to run WebRTC over XMPP, so the Call example is very important to all. Please help to enable it again.

To clarify, the call app is an example app using xmpp as the signaling protocol. PeerConnection on the other hand uses jsep as the signaling protocol. So we don't build call app with peerconnection. :)
https://github.com/legastero/jingle-interop-demos has a number of examples of doing a SDP -> Jingle transformation ontop of the peerconnection API btw. Might be easier than than the native transformation.

Would be interesting to have a call application that is compatible with the JS samples though.

With the work going on to integrate the needed libjingle functionality into webrtc, I don't expect to continue to maintain the signaling components.

If the XMPP signaling and call integration is useful, we could coordinate moving this code to a new repo where others could maintain it going forward.

Assign to Peter for prioritizing.

Peter will work on spinning XMPP code and the call sample apps out of webrtc into a new repo.
I am really glad about it. Will it be announced at this place where the new repo can be found?

This bug hasn't been modified for more than a year. Is this still a valid open issue?
