Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3679.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Add to extensions API an ability to read search query that user just typed in omnibox, please. I'll describe my use case below: There is a great extension called "Search Center", it allows to search using any custom search provider by clicking on its icon. It basically does what Firefox does out of the box. This is much more convenient and quicker for me than remembering and typing search provider keyword + space + search query + Enter in omnibox. There are maybe 2 more extensions similar to this one. The problem is - often, I forget to open this extension's panel and instead type my search query directly into omnibox. Only after that I open this extension's panel. What is the expected behavior? What I typed in omnibox gets automatically copied into extension's search field. What went wrong? Search field is always empty, because AFAIK there is no way for extension to read contents of omnibox. I have to waste my time and copy text from omnibox into extension's search field manually. It makes this great extension and all similar extensions practically useless, because it becomes quicker to just find the needed site among Google search results. WebStore page: Did this work before? No Chrome version: 73.0.3679.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:
