Issue descriptionChrome OS Version: <Version-71.0.3578.94: Chrome is official build Device name: Lenovo N23 chromebook <b>Network info: <network, encryption type, router model (if known)></b> Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1)remove domain account (2)add account back (3)quickly goto website that is normally blocked Expected Result:website would be blocked Actual Result: chrome can’t load the policy’s with the proxy.pac from the extension How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) Sometimes What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Impact to the company trying to block users from accessing specific website content Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.

I'm not sure whether net stack can do anything here if policy is not available, but tentatively adding Proxy tag as description explicitly mentions proxy.pac

Please give more detail on what steps (1) and (2) mean. Also by "extension" do you mean a Chrome extension? Is the setup that you are pushing Policy to Chrome users that load a particular Chrome Extension, and that Chrome extension in turn is controlling the proxy settings to configure a PAC script? If so this is an extension/policy issue. |
