Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3673.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enable dark theme 2. Open Elements, Ctrl+F 3. Type a text. The same issue with multiple other input fields with the dark theme, see screenshots. What is the expected behavior? Text colour must be contrast, e.g. white on dark. What went wrong? It will be black on a dark grey. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 73.0.3673.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: This issue appears on multiple input fields across the Dark theme. I also paid attention that there is no consistency in font color of different input fields in dark mode — somewhere the text is white, somewhere is light grey (see screenshots). Please, review styles of Dark mode to improve the consistency of the entire DevTools UI. P.S. I paid attention that there are multiple cosmetics tickets with complaints regarding the dark mode and text readability. Some of these tickets are even from June-July 2018! Please, check the tickets with "dark mode" or "dark theme". Thanks.

@susan.boorgula, this issue is indeed similar to issue 923467, but is not completely duplicate. It stress attention on the same issue but in different places of Chrome DevTools UI. So, please, bear in mind this ticket when fixing issue 923467. Thanks. |
