Hello, thanks for your quick response. Yes, users should not have to disable "save and fill addresses" to get the suggestions to not appear if the address field has autocomplete set to "off". That setting alone, set in the HTML, should prevent people from seeing those suggestions, as they are a form of autocomplete. In other words, this should show by default but should be developer-disablable using autocomplete="off". Any other workarounds for the time being?

I have an issue maybe related, the issue appear since chromium 71.0.3578.80 and was not happening in 70.0.3583.110. In a page with a form like this: <input placeholder="City" /> <input placeholder="ZIP" /> <input placeholder="Country" autocomplete="off"/> The "Country" field is auto-completed and breaks our own autocomplete that use XHR to get integer ids from the database. This does not happen if only 2 "address like" field are on a page, and did not happen at all in chromium 70. Our temporary fix is interspersing the line with invisible characters like this: <input placeholder="Country" autocomplete="off"/> |
