Chrome Version: 72.0.3626.59 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
OS: 11316.82.0 (Official Build) beta-channel nocturne
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Press AND HOLD power button
(2) Release power button:
* after power menu animation begins
* before power menu animation (or powerd 1s) ends
What is the expected result?
(3) Power menu animation aborts, fades back out to user app. [Preferred.]
or
(3) Power menu animation completes without needing to continue to hold the button down.
What happens instead?
(3) Device goes black screen and locks.
I suggest adding a minimum timer between [maximum power button "click" debounce duration] to lock screen <---and---> [minimum power button "hold" debounce duration to bring up power menu, but change your mind].
Mainly affects users with fast reaction times that let go of the button as soon as they see the menu animation begin, expecting it to come up fully.
