Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Platform: 11606.0.0 (Official Build) canary-channel eve Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Try to open My Files 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? My Files open What went wrong? My Files app opens for half a second and closes by itself. WebStore page: My Files Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 73.0.3673.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 73.0.3673.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) Flash Version: 32.0.0.114 The content itself is still available by using Android apps to access the Downloads folder. Media players still play the audio stored in the Download folders. The wallpaper app still access to "My Images". In Setting>Advanced>Downloads I'm unable to change the downloads location (The pop up that opens to select the folder, opens for half a second and closes itself) I'm unable to download anything from Chrome as it asks me where I want to save it, the pop up closes itself again. I can access the files from KDE installed in Crostini. I can access the files from the Linux App containers. I cannot access My Files from another Guest Account. I already restarted, uninstalled Linux Apps, reset to factory defaults. Only missing is powerwash (which I want to avoid due to huge amount of files in my Downloads folder.) Device: Pixelbook

I have this problem, and I have had the problem since the previous Canary update (so I had this problem yesterday too). If I try and attach a file to this comment, I have the same problem - the file chooser window opens briefly but then closes/crashes. Still happening even after updating Chrome Canary just now. I am surprised that such a major problem hasn’t been assigned by now.

Yep, still happening. I had to leave Canary and go back to Dev 'till the issue is resolved. Really need My Files.

I wanted to switch to a more stable platform but I can’t, because I’m using a Chromebook I’ve borrowed from someone else (because my Macbook died). Their settings don’t let me change channel, even though they’ve told me they don’t mind if I change it. So frustrating.

It's okay to me. I can go back Canary anytime. Canary isn't going anywhere

To the original poster: you say “The content itself is still available by using Android apps to access the Downloads folder.” Are you using a Chromebook? If so, can you please tell me which app you are using to access the Downloads folder? I am normally a Mac user and I’m unfamiliar with Chromebooks. I am just using this Chromebook temporarily, and I need to access the files in my Downloads folder. I thought this issue would have been fixed by now but it’s taking too long and I need to access my files. Thank you.
