Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Switch to M72/ M73 and enable flags for Google Assistant
2. Open Google assistant and tap on microphone and say something (such as "Who am I?")
3. Tap the microphone when done searching

What is the expected behavior?
The Assistant will process what is said and respond accordingly to the request or question

What went wrong?
The UI freezes and the Assistant does not pick up on any words or phrases said except for maybe one word.

Did this work before? Yes Early M72 when the flag was first introduced to Canary and Dev channels (I don't have a specific version)
