Chromebook not recognising garmin products

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 11151.59.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.94 Safari/537.36
Platform: 11151.59.0 (Official Build) stable-channel bob

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Connecting garmin to computer with usb cable
2. Error message saying it is not recognised
3. Unable to format devise

What is the expected behavior?
Copy and load data from the garmin

What went wrong?
Not recognising my garmin

Did this work before? N/A

Can you attach the output of the "dmesg" command? Open a crosh terminal with Ctrl-Alt-T and run "dmesg". The part I'm interested in is the output from when the Garmin device is connected which will tell us which drivers (if any) are being loaded for the device.

From your report I am assuming that device is supposed to be recognized as a standard USB storage device so that you can read and write files on it.

Which specific Garmin device models have you tested?
