Crostini files on sd card not accessible from LibreOffice

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11578.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3669.0 Safari/537.36
Platform: 11578.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel coral

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Using Files App or Crostini based file manager (PCManFM), find a file to edit on sd card
2. Open context menu
3. Click Open with LibreWriter or LibreCalc

What is the expected behavior?
Should open LibreWriter or LibreCalc, depending on file type

What went wrong?
Get an error message.  screenshots attached with errors

Another note
If I attempt to create and save a file from LibreWriter or LibreCalc, the file is created, but an error occurs and the file is 0 bytes.
