Powerwashed down to Stable M71. CRU was successful.
Was it the Powerwash, or is Dev73?

In checking with other PE's, this problem seems isolated to Dev M73

Comment 10 by denny.lo...@gmail.com, Today (10 hours ago)

Confirming problem/issue on:
Version 73.0.3669.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)
  11578.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel

I was not using a local image but I did first erase the media and then download the image for the hwid. I didn't see any errors or warnings in the dmesg log but the file:///var/log/image_burner.log showed the following:

[0122/140833.379687:INFO:image_burn_service.cc(32)] Image Burn Service created
[0122/140833.379832:INFO:image_burn_service.cc(79)] Reseting Image Burn Service
[0122/140833.384075:ERROR:image_burner_impl.cc(141)] Source path is not from one of the allowed locations.

After receiving the 'CHROMEOS_IMAGE_BURNER_ERROR' I went ahead and clicked on the 'Create now' button and the attached window opened, hopefully some of this will be helpful.

To clarify, I *attempted* to erase the recovery media, that's when I got the error and the recovery media was *not* erased.
