Crostini: Input prompt goes to beginning of line after certain length of input are reached

Project Member Reported by sienkou@chromium.org, Jan 14

Issue description

Chrome Version: 73.0.3669.0
Chrome OS Version: 11582.0.0
Chrome OS Platform: sona, kevin, eve
Network info: wifi

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) From chrome://settings, start and complete the Linux VM installation

(2) Make sure you don't adjust the window size of the terminal that was launched after installation completed

(3) Input something, like enter 1 for more than 57 times or so

Expected Result:
Input prompt should automatically goes to next / new line

Actual Result:
The input prompt goes to the beginning of the currently line

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?) Always

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? The workaround is to adjust the terminal size. After this is done, re-run this case and the problem goes away

Note: This is a change of behavior from previous build. I cannot repro this problem on build 11558.0.0
