Crostini: Cannot copy / paste files into Linux files from Files app

Project Member Reported by sienkou@chromium.org, Jan 14

Issue description

Chrome Version: 73.0.3669.0
Chrome OS Version: 11582.0.0
Chrome OS Platform: nami / sona
Network info: wifi

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:

(1) Complete the Linux VM installation. Make sure the Linux terminal is launched after installation completed

(2) Open Files app, copy a file from other file system, say Downloads.

(3) From Files app, go to the Linux files node, right click on the content pane

Expected Result:
Paste option on Linux files should be enabled

Actual Result:
Paste options on Linux files was still disabled

Note 1: This is a build regression. This feature was still working fine in Build 11558.0

Note 2: From terminal. If I run the cp command from other file system to Linux files, the files was copied. But from the Files app UI, such file is not shown

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.
