Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Let a desktop app set a flashing tray icon. For example, open WeChat, and receive a message, then its tray icon will flashing (appear, disappear, appear, disappear, and so on...) 2. Press cursor and hold on (no moving) in a page document element. Demo: http://jsfiddle.net/MrkY9/ 3. the document element's "mousemove" event will by fired many times and seems it's following the WeChat tray icon flashing frequency (interesting) Video demo: https://youtu.be/sVOY9wqGwz4 What is the expected behavior? "mousemove" event should not be influenced by other desktop apps. (The latest version of Firefox works fine) What went wrong? Some web page need to execute logics or calculations when mouse moving. But this event influenced by some desktop apps. So in this case there can be many invalid events fired when mouse pressing and holding but not actually moving. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 7 Flash Version: -- There is a similar but older and closed report and there are several similar reports on the internet: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=547030
