(1)Sign into user >> Open chrome://settings/fonts >>reload the page and observe the dropdowns(please refer video) Actual: Delay with slow loading in content is seen while reloading the chrome://settings/fonts page Expected: No such delay should be seen while reloading the chrome://settings/fonts page This is a Regression issue as same works fine in 72.0.3626.49/11316.66.0 beta

Please find a way to perform a bisect. I looked at this, in light of my recent font matching changes (see issue 627143). I built Chromium with and without the local unique font matching feature switched on ( https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/content/public/common/content_features.cc?l=163 ) and I see the delay in both cases. That's why I believe it's unrelated to my change. Removing Blink Fonts label.

Btw, the same can be observed on Linux, this might help in doing a bisect. |
