Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Hangouts in profile A 2. Close all windows including hangouts and switch to profile B 3. Hangouts from profile A can still be opened by profile B via the Hangouts icon on the Mac's File menu bar What is the expected behavior? Hangouts should close or re-check permissions if still open as an extension What went wrong? Profile A has a Hangouts account Profile B does not Extensions should cleanly reload or exit when switching profiles WebStore page: chrome web store Did this work before? No Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.14.0 Flash Version: Latest (n/a) This issue has persisted since older versions, pre-dating the current GUI redesign.

Able to reproduce the issue on the reported chrome version #71.0.3578.98 and latest chrome #73.0.3680.0 using Mac OS 10.14, Ubuntu 17.10 and Windows 10 by following steps as per comment#0. The issue is seen from M-60 builds(#60.0.3112.113), considering this as non-regression hence marking it as untriaged and requesting someone from dev team to look into the issue. Thanks.! |
