Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3668.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://www.voitanos.io/ 2. Set up Local Overrides: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/01/devtools#overrides 3. Add `console.log('test')` to the top of vtnscdn.azureedge.net/assets/voitanos-core.bundle... What is the expected behavior? Change gets saved to the file. On the next reload "test" is printed to the Console. What went wrong? DevTools disconnects from the page. On the next reload the message "LiveEdit failed: No script with given id found" is printed to the Console. Did this work before? Yes Not sure Chrome version: 73.0.3668.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.13.6 Flash Version: Repro video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EcQxwkkiUSx6dkGptio9mKMQk46xmMFX/view?usp=sharing Note that I edited the wrong file. But the general issue is the same.

I was the one who originally triggered this bug to get created (see: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54147769/hijacking-scripts-from-live-site-via-chromedev-tools-for-local-dev/54155194?noredirect=1#comment95142033_54155194). A bit more information... the CORS error (when using Local Overrides) is only showing when I include the `crossorigin` attribute on the <script> element. If I don't include it, it works as expected. I've since removed this attribute from my <script> elements so I can use Local Overrides, but shouldn't be required IMHO. |
