getUserMedia show black screen when camera is used by other browser.

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. First access the camera on mozila or any other browser except chrome. 2.Now need to access same camera on chrome browser, It show black screen. 3. What is the expected behavior? Need to denied the access of camera when it is in used by any the browser or application, and show through the proper error. What went wrong? Now in Chrome 71.0.3578.80 it allowing to access camera when it already used by other browser or application. It was work fine in previous version of chrome. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 71.0.3578.80 Channel: stable OS Version: 16.04 Flash Version: It was work fine in previous version of chrome.

satish.yadav@: I tested this with 71.0.3578.98 and ToT on Linux and got NotReadableError, as expected. What different behavior did you see in older versions?

Hi Team, I am not getting NotReadableError error on chrome i have verified it multiple times, but firefox i got NotReadableError. Please check attached file i have add break point in userMedia and debug it value i got the stream.

You have reproduce this issue from below url. Url: https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/gum/ Please follow the below steps: 1. Open it on firefox and click on open camera button. 2. Now open it on chrome and click on open camera button , you got the black screen.But here expected result is NotReadableError.

Tried testing the issue on reported chrome version #71.0.3578.80 using Linux 17.10 by following below steps. Steps: ===== 1.Launched Firefox. 2.Navigated to https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/gum/ 3.clicked on open camera and accessed camera 4 .Launched Chrome and navigated to https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/gum/ 5.clicked on open camera Observation: Got error ""getuserMedia error:NotReadableError "" as expected @Reporter: Could you please review attached screencast and let us know if anything is being missed here. Request you to retry the issue by creating a new person without any apps and extensions in it, reset all flags to default and let us know if issue still exists. Thanks.!
