Crostini: Able to access different USB drive files from Linux terminal after first USB drive was shared

Project Member Reported by sienkou@chromium.org, Jan 10

Issue description

Chrome Version: 73.0.3667.0
Chrome OS Version: 11558.0.0
Chrome OS Platform: kevin
Network info: wifi

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) After Linux VM completion completed, insert a USB drive (the drive does not have any specific name / label)

(2) Open Files app, right click on USB drive node, and choose Share with Linux

(3) From Linux terminal, run ls -la /mnt/chromeos/removable/USB Drive and observe the content of the USB drive

(4) From Files app, right click on the USB drive node, and choose Eject

(5) Insert the 2nd USB drive to the same USB port

(6) Repeat step 3

Expected Result:
I shouldn't be able to access 2nd USB drive files

Actual Result:
I was able to access the 2nd USB drive file

How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always

I also ran the few additional test:

1) Two USB drives with different name / USB drive: I got the expected result (only the first USB drive files were accessible)

2) Two USB drives with same name / USB drive: I got the same problematic result as this bug

3) The first USB drive has name and shared with Linux. I then eject the drive and insert a 2nd USB drive does not have name. At this point I do not have access to the 2nd USB drive. I then rename the USB drive as the same name as the 1st USB drive. From the same terminal window, I still don't have access. But after I shutdown Linux and restart Linux, I have access of 2nd USB again

Working as intended. FilesApp and crostini can only identify a USB by its name/label/path. If any 2 drives have no label, or the same label, then either will automatically share if the user has registered a share for that path.
this might be useful to FAQ (...somewhere...)
