I wasn't able to replicate this. I created an account on twitter, and clicked on tweet, then clicked the 'Add photos or video', then navigated to a drive folder which contains gif and jpg files. I selected on of the gif files which loaded into the tweet fine. tywinn77@ could you try this again and do a feedback report (ctr + alt +i) immediately after chrome restarts from crashing? Add a link to this bug in the details.

Thanks, I'll look out for the feedback now. And sorry, it is (shift+alt+i) to do feedback - I'm guessing you must have figured that out ;-)

Can you confirm that when you get the crash, are you doing the same steps that I described in #c3? Do you get a crash if you upload in other websites such as attaching a file in gmail?

Yeah sorry I had some other tabs open. I will repeat it without the Drive as I am revising for an exam.

Actually, I noticed it crashed when I had a drive tab open. I hadn't tested it without a Drive tab

And I hadn't noticed it. JPG seems to be fine. Only gif crashes the Chromebox

After it's crashed if you can grab the crash ID from chrome://crashes and paste here that'd be helpful as well :) It might take a few minutes to show up. Thanks

tywin77@ - out of interest, if you copy the file out of drive to Downloads and then try and attach it from there, does it still crash?

No, it doesn't crash when uploading from the downloads folder. |
