What steps will occasionally reproduce the problem?
(1) Navigating from the NTP to imdb.com
(Today, it worked 2/4 times on my Nexus 6P, can't reproduce it now)

What is the expected result?
The page is rendered.

What happens instead?
The content area is cluttered with artifacts staying there until interacted with (e.g. scrolling the page).
