Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create an empty .txt file 2. Create an empty .png file 3. Open both in Chrome 4. Delete both from disk 5. From each page click "Save as" What is the expected behavior? The files are deleted, so either Chrome can download them from memory, or like Firefox, display Network error, since the files don't exist on the disk anymore. What went wrong? PNG file shows Network error, but text file seems to be downloaded properly. However, none of the files appear on the disk. Network error should be displayed for text files too. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: / Chrome version is 67.0.3396.87

Able to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version# 71.0.3578.98 and on latest chrome# 73.0.3671.0 using Windows-10, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned in comment# 0. As this issue is seen from M-60(60.0.3112.0), hence considering this as Non-Regression and marking it as Untriaged. Thanks! |
