Crostini: Play files become inaccessible from terminal after flag is enabled

Project Member Reported by sienkou@google.com, Jan 9

Issue description

Chrome Version: 73.0l.3664.0
Chrome OS Version: 11552.0.0
Chrome OS Platform: Kevin, Nautilus
Network info: wifi

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:

(1) After Linux VM installation completes, right click on the following nodes and choose Share with Linux option:
 - Downloads
 - Play files
 - USB Drives

(2) From Linux terminal, enter ls -lai /mnt/chromeos. Verify the following directories are still accessible at this point:

MyFiles
PlayFiles
removable

(3) Open browser, and enter chrome://flags, enable the following flag:

Enable DriveFS, and click the Restart button in the lower right corner of the browser

Note: This step is necessary for now to enable Google Drive sharing with Linux. It'll also kill the running Linux terminal

(4) Re-launch the Linux terminal, and enter ls -lai /mnt/chromeos

Expected Result:
All 3 directories under /mnt/chromeos should still be listed

Actual Result:
 a) (Good) MyFiles and removable directories are listed
 b) (Bad) PlayFiles directory is no longer listed

How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? Workaround is either Logout and then Log back in, or reboot the system. PlayFiles become accessible again
