Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Reloaded page, reset settings and cookies, incognito window won't work 2. Firefox is the only internet browser that will recognize the USB camera. 3. Other programs using the usb camera immediately recognize the equipment. What is the expected behavior? When trying to change the camera setting to USB, it is already selected but when toggling to the camera icon in the search bar, it only has selected the facetime camera- all other options are greyed out. What went wrong? Everything. We weren't able to use our USB cameras as they were not able to be selected even through the chrome settings. We reset everything within Chrome and it would not let us access our webcams, only would default to the facetime cameras. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.4 Flash Version:

Can you select the camera on this sample page? https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/devices/input-output/

Note that the camera icon does not allow changing the camera for current getUserMedia() requests (therefore it only informs which camera is being used). Which camera will be used is decided by the application calling getUserMedia(). If the application does not specify anything, the default camera will be used. The default camera can be changed in chrome://settings/content/camera Based on your description, this is working as intended, but will wait for your feedback before closing this bug.
