hengyi.ning@, I am confused, why Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 matter here? Are you running emulator on Windows to run Android TV?

I do remember some video control issues had been introduced in M71, but not specific to Android TV, could you please try to test out beta version of Chrome (currently M72) to see if issue has been resolved?
ctzsm@ Thanks for your help. Please ignore Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 , it was useless.

I already try to check this problem at com.chrome.dev_73.0.3640.0 on Android TV 7.1, still can't play video after mouse click play button.

I tried to play some iqiyi videos on Pixel device with a blue tooth mouse, it does play without any issue.

I have no idea how to debug this as there is no way for us to reproduce the issue.

hengyi.ning@, could you minimize the web page so we could take a further look. This web page is fairly complicated and it is hard to tell if there is any JS evolved, etc. If iqiyi is the only website you have this issue, I highly doubt that the issue is the web page itself though.

ctzsm@, I request iqiyi.com on Android TV 905X 7.1 and chrome version like file picture 2.
 I'm not sure whether is iqiyi.com problem. because it works normally at other browser software which use native webview like 飞视浏览器 and native browser software on Android TV box.

Components: Blink>Media>Controls
Interesting, I believe there should be no difference between Chrome and WebView for the player if there are the same version, are you using Chrome as the WebView provider on this device?

I would have Blink>Media>Control to take a further look, but this is very difficult for us to debug since we don't know how to repro this.

Thanks ctzsm.
I don't using Chrome as the WebView provider on this device.

There have a same situation at www.baidu.com . Can you request this website?
I change user-agent to IPad and request www.baidu.com . I find it can't be click the entrance by the external usb mouse on Android TV. I think there are common issue. Maybe can help you to repro this.

By the way, it works when I touch it on Android Mobile. And I monitor motion event by code like below, it works, play normally and ww.baidu.com works too.
   final long uptimeMillis = SystemClock.uptimeMillis();
                            final MotionEvent obtain = MotionEvent.obtain(uptimeMillis, uptimeMillis, MotionEvent.ACTION_DOWN, (float) VirtualMouseView.this.mPoint.x, (float) (VirtualMouseView.this.mPoint.y), 0);
                            VirtualMouseView.this.mInstrumentation.sendPointerSync(obtain);
                            obtain.recycle();
                            final MotionEvent obtain2 = MotionEvent.obtain(uptimeMillis, 20L + uptimeMillis, MotionEvent.ACTION_UP, (float) VirtualMouseView.this.mPoint.x, (float) (VirtualMouseView.this.mPoint.y), 0);
                            VirtualMouseView.this.mInstrumentation.sendPointerSync(obtain2);

I try to compare the different with mouse, just find Motion event's tool type and button state are different. When I use mouse, tool type is mouse . When I user virtual Mouse monitor click event, tool type is unknown . Whatever, it can works. so interesting.

PS: The play problem of iqiyi can recurrent at any user agent. And If possible , can you test by Android TV. It's a must-have problem at here.

I'm look forward to your replay.
