Issue descriptionChrome version: 73.0.3664.3 (Official Build) cac0e5b7d469aad82d6fd21ee684caeec1c5cf46-refs/branch-heads/3664@{#5} (32/64 bit) OS: Windows (7, 8, 8.1, 10), Mac (10.13.1, 10.13.6, 10.14.3) and Linux (14.04 LTS) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch chrome and press 'Ctrl+P' to open Print Preview page. (2) Click on 'More Settings' to expand. (3) Traverse the focus over 'Scale' option using Tab key (value will get selected). (4) Now delete the selected value and Observe. Actual Result: Preview options doesn't get disabled on deleting the 'Scale' value. Expected Result: Preview options should get disabled on deleting the 'Scale' value. This is a regression issue broken in ‘M-71’, below is the Manual Regression range: Good build: 71.0.3562.0 (Revision: 594164) Bad build: 71.0.3563.0 (Revision: 594642) You are probably looking for a change made after 594207 (known good), but no later than 594208 (first known bad). With respect to comment #1, @rbpotter: According to the said condition in comment 1, it should be followed same when user enters a wrong value and then clears slowly in the Scale field (here options get disabled even when there is focus seen in scale field). Please refer the attached screen-cast for the same. Thank You..!!

No, there is a difference between clearing something valid to enter a new value and pausing on an invalid value, in which case we have to disable the other options, and then clearing. In other words, clearing the value doesn't change the state of the other options regardless of what that state is. Still WontFix, per UX guidance. |
