Links do not change color after clicking

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. http://pornolab.net/forum/tracker.php?f[]=-1
2. Click the link in the SIZE column(РАЗМЕР)
3. Links do not change color after clicking

What is the expected behavior?
Links change color after clicking.

What went wrong?
There are no errors.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98  Channel: stable
OS Version: OpenSuse Tumbleweed

Tried to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 71.0.3578.98 using Ubuntu 17.10.
Steps: 
------
1. Launched reported chrome 
2. Navigated the URL "http://pornolab.net/forum/tracker.php?f[]=-1" and observed Sign In page
3. Able to navigate to URL successfully but we didn't find SIZE column(РАЗМЕР) into it.

@Reporter: Could you please check the process we followed and let know if we missed anything from our end.

That link downloads a file, it doesn't open any page so it confuses Chrome. It's quite unfortunate since to determine visually which links were already clicked the site would have to track it manually, thus reimplementing the built-in history tracking mechanism of the browser. Firefox correctly sets the visited state.

Attaching a simplified repro:
1. put both files in a folder
2. open test.html
3. click the link
4. save the file
Expected: the link turns pink
Observed: the link stays blue
