[VR Browser] Window placement incorrect after backing out of DOFF flow. |
|
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 73.0.3663.2 OS: O Device: Samsung S8+, Pixel 2 XL It looks like triggering the DOFF flow is returning the users view back to the default orientation. Then backing out of the DOFF flow, the VR content window is no longer centered if it had been adjusted previously. I doubt it's a very frequent issue, since it requires backing out of the DON flow. What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enter VR browsing then click and drag window to the right ~ 45 to 90 degrees. (2) Click security indicator icon in url bar > site settings > exit VR (3) On the prompt to remove the device from headset, click the back button. What is the expected result? VR Browser content window should be in view. What happens instead? VR Browser content window is to the right to the degree it was moved in step 1.

This is newly discovered but it's likely always been this way. It repros on earlier versions of Chrome (M70), and the flow that raises the issue is an edge case, not explicitly tested. |
