Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. chrome://settings/content/cookies?search=cookies What is the expected behavior? Settings are basically: 1. Allow cookies 2. Keep local data only until browser exit 3. Deny third-party cookies What went wrong? - Usage of Deny in 3. is confusing compared to Allow in 1. Could 3. be phrased in terms of allow? - Disabling cookies altogether (1) disables (greyes out) setting 2 but not setting 3. - Settings 1 and 3 talk about cookies but 2 talks about local data. Something lost in translation or an error in English as well? Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

olaf@ Thanks for the issue. As per the above description this looks like a Feature Request to change the 'Block third-party cookies' to Allow and translation error in 'Keep local data only until browser exit' in English. Hence marking this issue as Untriaged and requesting Dev to look into the issue and help further. Thanks..

Right. I think (2) should be rephrased as well such that on is allow long-term storage and off is deny. |
