Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. chrome://extensions. ??? I have 2 extension on default (i rm ~/.config/chromium) 2. go to the site with extension which you have earlier 3. and... see "ADDED TO CHROME"!!!!!!!!!! What is the expected behavior? I EXPECTED THAT EXTENSION WILL INSTALLED TO MY BROWSER AND checked that i _don't_ have this more What went wrong? extension install WebStore page: anything Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.80 Channel: n/a OS Version: 4.17.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 Flash Version: 30.0.0.134 WHAT!???! COMMENTS!? REPAIR THIS DAMNED ERROR!!!!!!

Thanks for filing the issue... Tried to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 71.0.3578.80 using Linux 17.10. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: ----- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Opened chrome://extensions and opened previously installed extensions as per attached screen-cast As we have observed that the extension installed @Reporter:Could you please check the attached screencast and let us know if we missed anything form our end and verify this on latest chrome stable 71.0.3578.98, you can download latest chrome builds here:" https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel ".
