"Find in page" animation is too slow on large web pages |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 73.0.3658.0 (Official Build) canary (32-bit) OS: Android What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2018-December/thread.html (2) Use "find in page" to search for "sorted by" (no quotes). There should be one match at the start of the page and another at the end. (3) Tap the down arrow to move to the second match. What is the expected result? The page scrolls to the second match almost immediately. What happens instead? I wait about 7 seconds for the scrolling animation to finish. The problem is worse on even larger pages. Please use labels and text to provide additional information. If this is a regression (i.e., worked before), please consider using the bisect tool (https://www.chromium.org/developers/bisect-builds-py) to help us identify the root cause and more rapidly triage the issue. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.
