This device is not supported by this client because it requires third party authentication.

Thanks for the report. We haven't implemented "third party authentication" for the iOS client, so you cannot use Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to a Google-internal work machine.

Even if we did this work in CRD, there is still the problem of getting an iOS device sufficiently trusted to be allowed to connect.

Ok, so is there a recommended software to use to remote into my work computer from my iPhone?
I'm almost 100% certain the answer for iOS is no :(

The device itself needs to be sufficiently trusted (for remote access via CRD or SSH or anything else).

It *may* be possible for an Android device. We did actually implement third-party-auth for CRD Android, but it later became impossible to get any device "sufficiently privileged" so the function became useless for Google employees :) But things have changed since then for Android.

Consider using a ChromeOS device instead? :) It is indeed possible to set up a Chromebook for remote access to Corp. Both CRD and SSH are supported.
