Auto adjustment of Chrome Box audio after each call is inconvenient

Reported by moorad.f...@powerreviews.com, Jan 3

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. join meeting, adjust audio
2. leave meeting
3. rejoin current or new meeting and the speaker audio needs readjusting

What is the expected behavior?
The audio on a chrome box to reset after ever call.

What went wrong?
Product limitation. Grant admins control to standardize base audio for Chrome Box.

Did this work before? No

Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.12.6
Flash Version:

Contents of chrome://gpu:

This should be a basic standard on all chrome boxes. Please update the software and allow admins to control the audio remotely from the dashboard.

It is also very inconvenient for end users to continually raise the audio at the start of every new meeting.

As per the above description, this is a feature request.
Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev.

Thanks..

Seems a feature request for the Chromebox for meetings team. I think you'll need to send feedback through the device to route that to the correct folks -- it's not Chromium.
