I've uploaded a CL that keep listening to the events but do nothing: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1394644 and it seems to have no effect https://pinpoint-dot-chromeperf.appspot.com/job/14b792f2940000 The time_to_audo_play go from 210 to 219 (it was around 190 before this CL).

I will send a CL that doesn't event listen to events to see if it has a better impact.
