Desktop site option isn't working properly

Issue descriptionExample URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Search for something on chrome 2. After the results show up check the desktop site option, the browser now displays the desktop view 3. And now uncheck the desktop site option and the browser still loads the desktop view only. What is the expected behavior? The browser is supposed to display the mobile view after unckecking the desktop site option. What went wrong? After unchecking the desktop site option also the browser is still loading desktop view only. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 71.0.3578.99 Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version:

Tested this issue on android and able to reproduce this issue. Steps: 1. Searched something in chrome 2. Checked Desktop site option after the results are loaded 3. Unchecked Desktop site option and Observed that page is still loads as Desktop site. Note: 1.Unable to reproduce this issue on latest Beta#72.0.3636.28 & latest canary 73.0.3643.0. 2. Issue is seen in 8.1.0 android os. Works fine on 9.0 . Chrome Version: 71.0.3578.99 OS: 8.1.0 Android Device: Nexus 6p Marking this as untriaged as able to repro on reported version. @Aravind: Could you please check this issue on latest beta & canary if it is reproducible there?
