SD card frequently toggles write status

Reported by belg4...@gmail.com, Jan 2

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11151.59.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go about normal use of device
2. SD card randomly toggles to read-only status, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours or days. The device remains readable though.
3. If one is lucky, the device eventually flips back to writeable, otherwise one must unmount, remove, an reinsert, which is difficult and annoying with low-profile cards.

What is the expected behavior?
For a mounted device to remain rw

What went wrong?
Device is unreliably writable

Did this work before? N/A
