Since this has nothing to do with Sync. Hence, removing Services->Sync

Same issue here. Since last update, upon startup, Caps Lock combination (Alt+Search) will work only once. After that it will neither turn the Caps Lock off or back on. Each time the user must reconfigure keyboard in order to switch form 'Search? to the more traditional 'Caps Lock' function, but then the usefulness of the 'Search' command is lost unless one sacrifices another key in an already limited keyboard.

First time this happens since acquiring my Chromebook in September 2017. It must certainly be linked to this recent update.

This is possibly a dupe of the issue that I opened last month. And I have repro steps on how I can break cap lock.
