Keep getting 'Google could not sync your data' on Chromebook

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.77 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. After adding Mobicip extension, we keep getting Google sign in error 2. Add the extension 3. Login What is the expected behavior? It should work fine. The problem was not there with the previous OS version What went wrong? 'Google chrome could not sync your data as your login details are out of date' Tried out every possible solution found over the Internet. Here are the debug logs from Chromebook Did this work before? Yes 70.0 Chrome version: 71.0.3538.77 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version:

Also, since Mobicip performs content filtering so it might be possible that there are some URLs that make the APi calls for syncing which maybe blocked by us, since we use proxy pac file and all. So, will sending those urls directly to the remote server help solve this issue? If yes, then can you please send me the list of URLS to whitelist? -Nidhi

We're seeing this same behavior with our Iboss ChromeOS extension which also uses a pac file and does content filtering. Definitely see this on version 71.

We were able to resolve this issue after the 71 update by exempting googleapis.com from our web filter/proxy settings. Unsure if this is related to other user issues though. |
