Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? When I click to start the Chromium Browser, a tab opens up on the bottom of the screen, the pointer turns to a timer, and about 10 seconds later both the timer and the tab go away. No screen is opened up. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on chromium version 71.0.3578.0 using Ubuntu 14.04 As we do not have ubuntu 16.04 mate to check on the exact OS platform mentioned in C#0. From screenshot given in C#0 the Error seems to be related to zygote_host_imp_linux.cc, hence cc'ing palmer@ for further inputs.

The error message says it all: If you run Chromium/Chrome as root, you have to use `--no-sandbox`. Of course, it's completely unsafe to do either; doing both is doubly unsafe. :) Instead, just run Chromium/Chrome with a regular, non-privileged user account. |
