Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Example URL: file:///* Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Tweak your local python docs - it looks awesome. 2. Find out that it wont work in chrome, because the config page needs cookies and Chrome doesnt support cookies on the file protocol. 3. flip table What is the expected behavior? allow cookies on file protocol. What went wrong? Does not allow cookies on file protocol. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: I need a new table.

Don't think we want to change this - cookies behavior isn't specified for the file protocol, and it's not clear what the scope of cookies should be (Global would potentially let an app in one directory steal information from another app in another, for instance. Scoping them at directory breaks things with file hierarchies, etc). |
