High CPU-usage ESXi

Reported by mpreis.i...@gmail.com, Dec 27

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Deploy Google Chrome on ESXi-system
2. Use e.g. Outlook-webfrontend (especially filepreview)
3. GC grabs at least half a CPU-core
There is no difference which version between 63 and 72

What is the expected behavior?
- GC should use less CPU like on physical systems
- GC should use less CPU like in Edge, IE, Firefox
- the amount of usage should be about 2%

What went wrong?
Terribly high CPU-usage which kills ESXi-hosts

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 71.0.3578.80 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

Thanks for filing the issue!

As per comment# 0 from the issue seems to be related to ESXi-system, the setup is not available at ET team to test and confirm it, hence routing this to Inhouse team for further triaging the issue. Hence adding TE-NeedsTriageFromHYD label to it.

Thanks!
