Chrome Version: (72.0.3626.36)
OS: (Chrome OS M72.11316.46.0)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) After the above chrome OS installed, opechrome://settings/?search=linux in browser to turn on Linux. Wait for linux installation complete
(2)From the linux terminal, try to install gedit via the following command:
sudo apt-get install gedit
(3) After successful installation gedit to linux, open the launcher -> Unnamed (or Linux Apps) and verify Text Editor is listed there
(4) From the same linux terminal, remove gedit by run the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gedit
(5) After remove gedit from linux completes, open the launcher -> Unnamed (or Linux Apps), and verify the Text Editor is removed
(6) From the same linux terminal, re-install the gedit by repeating the same command in step 3
(7) Launch re-install gedit completed, open the launcher, Unnamed (or Linux Apps)
What is the expected result?
Test Editor should be added back to the Unnamed (or Linux Apps)
What happens instead?
Text Editor was not added back to the Unnamed (or Linux Apps) despite gedit was re-installed back successfully
