Going offline in dev tools does not affect server-sent events

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to site using server-sent events like https://lausanonymous.com/Discuss/ 2. Open dev tools 3. Go offline 4. Server-sent events still coming (https://lausanonymous.com/Shared/messenger.php) What is the expected behavior? Connection for server sent events is closed What went wrong? Server-sent events are still coming even developer force disconnect from network (Offline) Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: Arch Linux Flash Version:

Thanks for filing the issue... Tried to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 71.0.3578.98 using Ubuntu 17.10. Attaching screen-cast for reference. Steps: --------- 1. Launched reported chrome 2. Navigated the URL "https://lausanonymous.com/Discuss/" 3. Opened Devtools >> Network >> offline >> Observed site can't be reached 4. Opened second url "https://lausanonymous.com/Shared/messenger.php" in same tab >> Observed site can't be reached and on different tab observed Server-sent events coming As we observed that the Server-sent events are still coming on different tab @Reporter: Could you please check the attached screen-cast and let us know if we missed anything from our end.
