Pixel slate scroll lagging

Just saw a Pixel slate review video on Marques Brownlee' channel. The video shows Pixel slate scroll lagging. It seems the issue happens on the lowest model (Celeron CPU).

We should try this out locally and grab some traces. A lot of the complaints in the video look like slowness in Ash layout but there may be some issues in the input pipeline/Blink we might be able to look at.

Chao, do you know if we have a Slate device? Would you be able to try this out and grab some traces where you see perf issues?
