Data binding inconsistency

Reported by sarath...@gmail.com, Dec 22

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.the value exists / Showing in chrome developer tools but not reflecting in UI, however this issue is not every time.
Some times work properly

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Displaying form using accordion layout, form fields same across all accordions. Recently I noticed a few form elements/form labels are not displaying occasionally and the value I can see through developer tools, after performing any event like click/focus/ manual update using developer tools will showing properly. I am expanding form with 0.5s transition time.

Note: Issue only exists in window's chrome. Using Angular 5 framework I tried all possible ways like by adding trackby for ngfor, changed changeDetection detection strategy..

Did this work before? Yes

Thanks for filing the issue...

@Reporter: It would be really helpful if a sample URL/Test file is provided, so that we can investigate the issue further.

Thanks.!

Hi,

As said, the issue is reproducible within the page (accordions) and it is inconsistent within the accordions. And very much hard to provide working URL,
as a workaround: When I increase the speed of transition in CSS it is working fine.
I changed from transition: 0.5s height ease-in-out to transition: 0.167s height ease-in-out.

@Reporter: As per comment #3, we are unable to test the issue without proper url/test file and also form the above comment #3 the issue seems to be working fine when increase the speed of transition. Can you please confirm that the issue is resolved now or not.

I will try to replicate and share some working URL. I did some temp work
around inorder to fix that issue.

I don't know how CSS transition is related to data bindings sometimes
labels missing sometimes form values are missing.
I already shared one screenshot where data showing in developer tools and
not reflecting on UI.

I'm reasonably sure this is a known OOP-raster issue related to text blobs, but maybe I'm wrong. I suspect we will fix this issue by fixing some other bug.

As per comment #6, Requesting @reporter to share working URL to triage it and if possible provide screencast for better understanding of this issue. Adding Needs-Feedback label to it.

Thanks..!
Given that this is Windows, it is not an oop raster issue. It might be a gpu raster issue, but this bug isn't actionable without a test case.
Hi,
The Issue exist in both Windows and Mac operating systems, Soon I will
provide test casemay be today or tomorrow.

Best,
Sarath
