Chrome Custom Tabs "Copy link", but not a long press, or the "Share link…"->"Copy to clipboard" feature stopped working in November 2018

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Search for something
2. Select a search result
3. Click the 3 dot overflow icon, then "Copy link".
4. Attempt to paste the URL somewher else

What is the expected behavior?
URL is search result pasted in.

What went wrong?
Either nothing pasted, or previous contents of paste buffer.

Did this work before? Yes
