Last DEV Update (Chrome OS) CPU process stuck over 100%

Reported by stegau...@gmail.com, Dec 21

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 11316.35.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3626.30 Safari/537.36
Platform: 11316.35.0 (Official Build) dev-channel eve

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Process to the last DEV Chrome OS update
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
Nothing special

What went wrong?
Since last DEV update (Chrome OS) on my Pixelbook device, my CPU was stuck over 100% on "chrome" process. So my Chromebook is unusable. I do a Powerwash and is the same problem...

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 72.0.3626.30 Channel: dev
OS Version: 11316.35.0
Flash Version: 32.0.0.101

Same issue with both i5 and i7 Pixelbooks, browser process consumes over 100% CPU and system is very sluggish. Removing Android support (Google Play Store) drops CPU utilization back to normal. Reinstalling Play Store causes CPU to go over 100% again.
Having the same issue.
