Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_14_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Upgrade to macOS Mojave 2. Have printers that are discoverable on the network, but that are not installed on the Mac (They show up in "Nearby Printers" menu for all other programs) 3. Try to print, the printers that have not been installed show up as an available option. 4. Uninstalled printers give an error of: "The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly" What is the expected behavior? Any "nearby printers" did not appear as a choice in Chrome until macOS 10.14+. They should not be shown unless installed. What went wrong? Printer list shows all discoverable printers on network whether installed or not. Trying to print to a printer that hasn't been installed gives an error of: "The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly" Did this work before? Yes macOS 10.13 and lower Chrome version: 71.0.3578.98 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.14.2 Flash Version:

It sounds like you are saying this is a new feature in macOS 10.14. Do you happen to know is this feature is documented somewhere? Knowing what mechanism is causing these printers to appear is a good first step to fixing this.

Unable to test the issue on chrome reported version# 71.0.3578.98 using Mac Mojave 10.14.2, as printer set-up is not available at ET end to test the issue. @Reporter: Could you please respond to comment# 3, hence adding Needs-Feedback label to it. Thanks!
