now when baum supervario2 bluetooth shows up in chromevox and being selected no braille shows on the display

Unfortunately, we don't have this display to reproduce. Have you ever used this display with Brltty 5.5 via bluetooth?

not sure but 5.6 work fine

Correction: Chrome OS is on Brltty 5.6 as of latest 72. The bluetooth display feature is now only available 73 and after.

Does this display typically require a pin? Did you get prompted for one?
