No longer possible to get answer to math queries in text in Omnibox

Reported by mik.jo...@gmail.com, Dec 20

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.80 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Type "log 5" into the Omnibox. An answer (0.698970004) will appear as a suggestion.
2. Press Down Arrow Key to highlight the answer.

What is the expected behavior?
The text of the answer should appear in the omnibox.

This has two main uses:

1. it lets me copy the answer (Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + C), and
2. it lets me continue my calculations with
the value when I no longer care about how I
   got it and want to
   a) avoid having to use parentheses
(eg. 2+2, Down, *5 to get 20, not 12), or
   b) shrink the math expression if it's too long.

What went wrong?
The answer does not appear in omnibox, is not selectable, copyable or editable.

Did this work before? Yes
